Can the visually impaired watch movies? Can the visually impaired appreciate the art? Most of the visually impaired because physical barriers cause difficulty to appreciate art and they just have a few opportunities to participate in cultural and artistic activities. The service of oral video, sign language interpretation, accessible subtitles etc which can help the visually impaired, hearing impaired and physically impaired to watch or enjoy the movie. Movie guided tour refers to the interpreter who turns the image into speech, and describes the expressions and actions of the actors, the layout of the scene and the development of the plot without disturbing the dialogue, sound effects and background music as much as possible. The oral video is a brief description of the video message, conveyed to the visually impaired. In fact, the art barrier-free is still in its infancy period in Hong Kong because the main promoters are from non-governmental organizations. Jacqueline thinks the HK government needs to provide the platform and give the support to help them share the art with the public.
