Before the Covid-19, only 6% of users were interested in the video call function. After the coronavirus, the proportion of interested users has soared to 69%. This means that people can actually accept this way of making new friends. Many people have resistance to video chat with other users because people are worried that it is difficult to make a good first impression in front of the camera. Justin McLeod, CEO of Hinge, said. "But we are standardizing video dating." For example, video has beauty effects. In addition, the application was setting up some ice-breaking games and online activities is a way to ease the embarrassment.
